Work Experience
A timeline of my professional journey
Business Analyst
McKinsey & Company Digital Practice
Specialized in enterprise digital and AI transformation across retail, CPG, and industrials. Work spanned across enterprise strategy, domain transformation, technical solutioning, and implementation
Business Analyst
McKinsey & Company — Digital Practice
At McKinsey, I learned how to apply my technical abilities in real business contexts. I specialized in the reimagination of workflows and domains in the age of AI. I learned how to scope, build, and deploy digital solutions in the complex, real-world enviornments of businesses' legacy systems and enterprise architecture. I built on my technical abilities with the soft skills it takes to change an organization's ways of working, set up sustainable governance councils, and build robust strategy and alignment across different teams.
Digital & AI Strategy
Unlocking enterprise value starts with strategy. At a C-suite level, I learned how to identfiy and prioritize opportunities to transform businesses with ML and LLM solutions. This included the full pipeline from researching the art of the possible, to establishing a north star ambition, to sizing and prioritizing opportunities across business units. From there, I learned how to map current state processes and work with teams to reimagine their workflows. I then built conceptual data models, MVP requirements, funding requirements, and value-ramp roadmaps to set the organization up for success. Across consumer and industrials, I worked between strategy, operations, and engineering teams to build alignment and help the world's largest organizations unlock the scaled value of AI solutions.
Implementation and delivery
Of course, strategy is meaningless without execution. My MIT background taught me how to build solutions, and at McKinsey I learned everything else it takes to turn technology into business value. For example, at a Fortune 500 retailer, I led a team of 7 engineers and 3 business stakeholders to build a customer data platform. As part of a marketing department AI transformation, our task was to build an customer data product that would function as the single source of truth for the ML-driven, hyper-personalization marketing engine. Over 5 months, I led over 80+ business interviews, oversaw the build of 3000+ customer signals, built conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and stood up an sustainable maintenance and governance data product council. I learned how to take AI concept from idea to sandbox to production and ensure adoption. Today, our data product continues to impact over 30 million loyalty customers.
My passion for consumer
Outside digital and AI, my time at McKinsey ignited my passion for consumer businesses. At a major CPG player, I led a team of 15 clients to rapidly build a 2-year turnaround strategy for one of their billion-dollar brands. Leveraging McKinsey's Wave transformation framework and weekly President touchpoints, we unlocked significant value through granular initiatives such as a omnichannel marketing campaign, rebranded packaging based on consumer surveys, retailer negotiation strategy, and a redesigned price-pack architecture (PPA). I built on my passion in the private capital practice, where my team valued a popular vitamins, minerals, and supplements brand. I assessed their growth outlook relative to the industry and helped conduct a detailed survey to evaluate their brand health, loyalty metrics, and more. Commoditized consumer goods rely on brand, diversified distribution, and pricing to compete; I will bring this frame to my next ventures.
In my first review cycle, I received a Distinctive rating — awarded to fewer than 1% of Business Analysts in their first year.

Technical Co-founder
GamePlan AI
Co-founded and led product development of an AI-powered coaching intelligence platform for NFL teams, bringing competitive insights directly into the film room.
Technical Co-founder
GamePlan AI
GamePlan AI is a next-generation coaching intelligence platform built to transform the way NFL teams analyze opponents and build their weekly gameplans. Alongside Brent Celek (former Eagles Tight End), I led the design and development of a full-stack system that converts raw player tracking data into structured, coach-readable play labels using the exact terminology coordinators rely on in their film rooms. The insights were then made available through a custom agentic front-end that allowed coaches to ask specific player-technique level questions, understand their opponent's patterns, and track league trends. Our mission was to dramatically acclerate the gameplanning process by providing labeled data sets mere minutes (instead of days) after the game and eliminating the over 40 weekly man hours spent labeling film.
Building for the NFL
Rather than build in a vacuum, we went directly to our customers. We met regularly with NFL coaches, including coordinators and positional staff, as well as the team's General Manager to demo our platform, gather hands-on feedback, and understand the real workflows inside an NFL organization. We built our platform to meet the specific needs of NFL position group coaches and to build real excitement around the competitive advantage of AI tools. While we never landed a formal contract, my experience was an invaluable lesson in agile product development, customer discovery, and the challenges of selling to large organizations.

Business Analyst Intern
McKinsey & Company
Focused on applying computer science principles to business challenges and bridging the gap between engineers and business strategists.
McKinsey & Company
Worked on a variety of data science-focused roles on both internal and client-facing projects. Major accomplishments include:
- Developed a county-level heat map of the USA that ranked counties based on warehouse labor favorability. Ranking determined by a heuristic methodology that factored in macroeconomic labor conditions such as average wage, laborer supply and demand, and unemployment. Tableau tool was used to optimize the placement of national distribution centers.
- Analyzed results and code of optimization model for video commerce client. Uncovered previously unnoticed duplication error that, when corrected, resulted in a $50M change in the projected sales from the model. Presented results to senior partner team.
- Created novel methodology for analyzing assortment optimization opportunities for retail clients. Analysis included creating a sales per exposure metric, creating a new sales vs profitability comparison to assess inventory policies, and uncovering unique features in the data to provide interesting cuts for the client. Analysis resulted in work that drove more than $15M of recurring savings. My "analyses [have] become the 'standard'" for teams in this area.

Ciena Corporation
Ciena is a global leader in optical and routing systems, services, and automation software. They sell hardware and software that, in short, forms the basis of internet connectivity across the globe. I worked inside of the project management team to liaise with engineers, sales teams, and business development groups in order to better position Ciena for the future. My projects included:
- Worked with results from experimental technology trial with multinational wireless carrier in order to deploy technology that utilized deep packet inspection (DPI) to slice network traffic and enable Verizon to customize prioritization of traffic through their network.
- Created unique visualization of over 10,000 data points to understand packet loss behavior for TCP and UDP protocols. Identified flaws in the core technology and worked with engineering team to fix them.
- Compiled final technical report to send to the wireless carrier team that included technical description, analysis of results, and potential areas for hardware and software improvement.
- Synthesized data from sales and online sources to create sales prioritization framework for a novel technology. Combined quantitative and qualitative data into a ranking that allowed me to group the target customers into 4 buckets. My work culminated in a presentation to sales team that directed their efforts towards the top 30 of over 300 potential clients.
- Researched upcoming 5G auctions across the globe to create visualization that allowed sales team to understand when each country will be primed to buy Ciena's new 5G software.

Product Development Intern
Planalytics, Inc.
Led 4-person team to develop a new technology for existing waste mitigation product that would quantify annual carbon emission reduction.
Planalytics Inc.
Planalytics is a SaaS company that helps its clients understand the impact of weather on retail demand. Planalytics uses advanced analytics and machine learning to understand how a given day's weather will impact demand for each SKU in each store for national brands.
Working directly under CEO Fred Fox, my role was to help Planalytics and their clients understand the associated carbon emission reduction stemming from the waste reduction. In order to bring this idea from ideation to development to deployment, my team and I had to:
- Understand and pick one of the many different methodologies companies, governments, and scientists use to track carbon emissions.
- Create our own quantitative algorithm to convert Planalytics' waste saving metrics into carbon emissions reduction figures.
- Develop a product-market fit, business case, and sales deployment strategy that could be handed off to the sales teams in order to help attract and retain clients.
Ultimately, I presented my findings to the C-suite at Planalytics. After gaining their approval, I co-authored an industry white paper that was published and detailed the above information.
